Each year, skilled nursing centers in Georgia are subject to unannounced surveys by the State’s Department of Human Resources, Office of Regulatory Services. The survey is intended to ensure that each healthcare center is meeting all requirements to maintain quality patient care. State surveyors conduct confidential interviews with patients, families and staff, as well as observe all activities and operations throughout the healthcare center.
