Skills Needed:

Qualification Standards, Education, and Work Experience:

 

1-2 years experience in banking or related check processing experience.

 

Associates Degree in related financial field.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite. 

 

Ability to learn new computer applications.

Job Description:

Position Summary: Manage the resident trust account balances for a group of Healthcare Centers through American Health Tech’s – Long Term Care (LTC) software program.  Successful individuals are able to manage a reasonable volume of detailed work and are familiar with basic banking and accounting concepts.  The position will be responsible for all deposits, transfers and posting of resident trust funds.  This position will work with the Accounts Receivable team members to address issues that may involve a patient’s payment for services.  There will also be phone & e-mail interaction with facility partners, family members and patients who may have questions regarding their resident trust accounts.  This position will work under general supervision.

 

This position will function within a team environment which will encompass all financial functions of the long term care business including but not limited to: Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources and Payroll.  Successful individuals will be able to work well with other team members to meet or exceed financial goals set by the organization. File and organize all appropriate paperwork related to job duties.
