A person faced with a life-limiting illness deserves to live the rest of life fully, comfortably and with dignity. United Hospice aim is to achieve that goal by providing dedicated quality holistic care, treating the physical, social and spiritual being as the patient approaches his or her final days.
United Hospice was established in 1993 and is the largest provider of hospice services in the State of Georgia. We are located throughout Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina including an inpatient facility in Duluth, Georgia, furnishing comfort, care and support, closure, personal and spiritual peace, self-respect and respect for fullness of life.
Hospice services are covered by most insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid. United Hospice provides these services regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. Individuals are eligible for hospice if they have a life-limiting illness, they are referred to hospice by their physician, they chose hospice and they are appropriate for hospice.
