COMMITMENT TO CARING

The UHS-Pruitt Corporaton family of providers formed a "Committed to Caring" Committee in 2003.  This committee solicited feedback from every affiliated location on the topic of, "What does committed to caring mean to you?"  After compiling the answers, the committee was able to draft a mission, vision and commitment statement that reflects what UHS-Pruitt Corporation's family of providers means when they say that they are "committed to caring".

These statements speak to the heart of our goals.

Finally, our commitment statement specifically defines our promise to stakeholders.

We understand that our clients are one of our greatest resources. Whether it is patients, residents, families or friends, volunteers, employees or the communities we serve, we are committed to serving health care needs, gaining loyalty and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

We commit that we will promote a timely, courteous rapport with those that impact our industry including the public, those in the health care workforce, our vendors and referral sources. We will maintain relationships grounded in respect, open communication and professionalism with those in the regulatory agencies, reimbursement agencies and law enforcement.

We commit to open and honest communication that provides a foundation for practicing what we do in an ethical and legal manner. We understand that a creative work environment maximizes performance improvement. We cherish and value employee competency built through continuing professional development.  We reward teamwork and empower those that promote quality care and services.  We ascribe to the tenants of the “Quality First” pledge.
